White Rock

On Friday, the sun showed mercy and gave us a break from a daylong rain period.

White Rock is a 5 km² small city near the USA border.
It is just a 40-minute-drive from our home.
In the background you see the snow-covered Mount Baker, which is in the USA.

No need to say why the city's name is White Rock. The rock is a remainder of the last ice age and weighs 486 tons.
Also very popular in White Rock is the 2.5km long promenade along the beach and a 458 meter long pier where you can stoll and soak up the sun.

White Rock is always worth a daytrip.
