Troll Falls

Troll Falls is an easy, short walk in Kananaskis Country. The 3.4 km return was just the right distance for our Sunday hike....ehm...let's say Sunday walk.

With the right clothes on, let's get started.

No wind, temperatures over 0 degrees and walking makes you feel warm. A coat is not necessary any more.
There it is! Troll Falls in winter. It wasn't easy to get on that ice. Hold on tight!

We have to come back in a few months to catch the Troll Falls in the summer time. We can't wait.

****************

Was this all? No.
After the exploration of the falls, we drove to Canmore for a walk on the Bow River.
The Sunday still had some daylight left. Too beautiful to drive home.

Surviving the winter

Prepare for a snowball fight

What a rewarding view

It was a beautiful day.
